Summertime in Nashville is the best time of the year! The MG crew wants to keep you updated on the fun events that are taking place in our city! In this post we are highlighting just a few of the events happening in late May and early June. We hope to see you at some of these events and let us know if there are any events that highlight local businesses that you want to see featured on our blog!

NightLight 615’s Outdoor Movie Series - May 23rd & 30th

NightLight 615 is Nashville’s 21+ Outdoor Movie series. Each Night Light event features an outdoor movie in the heart of the city along with Nashville’s best local food trucks, craft beer & wine too.” Their goal is to provide Nashville with low key night out that is still fun and unique! Each event will showcase one of NightLights favorite cinema classics and they even have a DJ spinning music before to set the tone for the night! On May 23rd they will be showing Dazed & Confused, tickets in advance are $9 and tickets the day of are $15. On Thursday May 30th they will be showing Wedding Crashers, tickets are also $9 in advance and $15 the day of. The doors for both of these events open at 7:30 with the screenings beginning at sundown. All of NighLight 615’s outdoor movie screenings take place at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall Park Amphitheater 600 James Robertson Pkwy, Nashville TN 37243.

Spring Yappy hour, Doggy Fashion Show at the Union Station Hotel - May 30th

In partnership with the Nashville Humane Association, the Union Station Hotel invites you to bring your dog dressed in their best spring outfit for a fashion show! The show will be judged by co-founder and managing partner of Nashville Fashion week, Marcia Masulla. The winner of the “Best Spring Outfit” will get a complimentary staycation at the Union Station Hotel with their owner! Second place winner wins a dinner for two at Union Station Hotel’s lobby bar and restaurant, Carter’s. The event is happening from 5 to 7 p.m. and is free to the public! A portion of all the proceeds from this event will benefit the Nashville Humane Association. 

Nissan Taste of Music City Festival - June 1st 

The Nissan Taste of Music City Festival is back for it’s 17th year! The festival is an all inclusive food tasting event that will feature chef cooking demonstrations, live music, tours of Nashville’s culinary neighborhoods and plenty of tastings. The event takes place from 5-9 p.m. in Public Square Park. Adult General Admission tickets are $59, children’s General Admission tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are $85. CMA Fest June 6th - 9th

The biggest country music event of the season, CMA Fest returns to Nashville! For three full days, Nashville will be completely taken over by country music’s biggest fans. Around 90,000 people attend the festival every year from all 50 states. Hundreds of artists will be playing is different locations all around Nashville ranging from well known acts to smaller names. If you haven’t already bought tickets to the big name shows at Nissan Stadium check out all of the free events happening during the day such as concerts and meet & greets! Gulch Night Market - June 6th 

A unique event celebrating local vendors! You don’t want to miss the June date of the Gulch Night Market! This month’s event will have extended hours starting at 3 p.m. instead of the regular time of 5 p.m. and lasts until 9 p.m. Check out gulchnightmarket.com to see the list of vendors. This free event is welcome to families and pets!
