Getting to Know Kelsey

What's your position at MG? What does that mean for you? 

I am the web and social media manager! This means making sure the website and Instagram are portraying the Molly Green values and experiencing the same feeling when visiting one of our IRL stores.

How did you get started at Molly Green? 

Our visual merchandising manager, Heather actually stole me from my old job thank goodness! She came in and I recruited myself over to the team.

What do you like most about your job?

There are so many things but I think my favorite is how creative I’m allowed to be within my job. I’m able to really let my wild brain come to life in front of my eyes and it’s very mesmerizing. 

What is your least favorite part? 

That a tornado came along and took our office and studio!

Favorite MG memory? 

I think any of the online photoshoots. We get to all be together and when the clock hits about 4pm we all start getting delirious and hilarious. I have so many great memories in these moments.

Favorite item you've gotten from MG? 

Oh this is hard… But I will choose my holographic mirrored sunnies. I’ve had them for a few years and people are still begging me to sell them off my face to them.

How would you describe your personal style?

I think I'm more basic. I love a good soft basic and I like to portray that look almost every day. Although I will randomly spice it up, especially if I’m ROARA.

What inspires you? 

Kindness.

Do you have a secret talent?

I can burp louder than anyone you know.

What is something not a lot of people know about you that you wish they did?

I’m actually a cancer survivor! It’s something you wouldn’t know by looking at me or meeting me at all but it’s really what made me who I am today.

When you're not at MG what are you doing?

I’m a musician by night. Her name is ROARA, she is my second personality and she’s bright, fun and crazy!

Favorite thing you've done recently?

Hmmm, probably any motorcycle ride I’ve been on in the last few months. It makes me very happy.
