Getting to Know Brandon
What's your position at MG? What does that mean for you?
Brittany and I lead and guide the brand in many different ways. One day I may be loading a uhaul trailer, the next I could be negotiating a lease, and the next headed to Los Angeles to source inventory.
How did you get started at Molly Green?
Right out of college I convinced Brittany to operate a few Subway restaurants, our first entrepreneurial endeavor together. She had big plans of going to NYC after school and instead we ended up in South Florida. Working open to close, 7 days a week, scrubbing floors, baking bread, slicing onions, the whole 9. So after several years, we decided we needed to do something else. Brittany had always been into fashion and sewing, and dreamed of creating a fashion brand. We moved to Birmingham and within 5 months, Molly Green opened up.
What do you like most about your job?
I love spending my days with my best friend, Britt! I love creating. I love planning and implementing ideas. I love working with my sis! Anna, we are commonly referred to as BrandAnnA.
What is your least favorite part?
The stress that sometimes seeps in. When a customer does not have a good experience. When I see a group of people walk by our store, look at it and not come in. Putting off 10 months of quickbooks and having to cram it into 2 weeks of nonstop data entry.
Favorite MG memory?
Gosh, I have so many! Late night LA taco truck runs with Anna and Britt. Pushing Anna through the mall at 3am on a dolly. All of the friends, family and customers who showed up for our East Nashville Grand Opening.
How would you describe your personal style?
Comfy always. Core styles. Usually sneaker or sock centric.
What inspires you?
I am inspired by many different personal experiences and the experiences and ideas of others. I spend a lot of time listening to podcasts and reading. Right now I am learning a lot about mental models and how to have impossible conversations. The sheer amount of information that exists at our fingertips inspires me. Brittany is also constantly inspiring me, whether she is dreaming up a new idea or putting in the extra time and effort to ensure a process is done correctly.
Do you have a secret talent?
I’m a hooper and semi-pro ping pong player.
What is something not a lot of people know about you that you wish they did? ALT: Do you have a party trick? If so, what is it?
I enjoy a nice instrumental and freestyle session.When you're not at MG what are you doing?
Listening to a podcast, reading, listening to music, spending time outside.

Hmm. Ordered a stock tank to create our own little DIY Pool escape in the backyard. Started a garden.What do you love about Nashville, Chattanooga, and Birmingham?
Lots of kind humans in all three cities. Lots of innovation and creativity. Living in Nashville, I am spoiled by being able to see so many amazing musicians any night of the week. I also enjoy the growing comedy scene in Nashville, from some very talented up and coming local comics to the touring comics coming through Zanies.Is there anything you want to add?
