Getting to Know Jessica!

What's your position at MG? What does that mean for you?

Store Manager! I don’t take this role lightly. I strive to represent all of the wonderful qualities this family business believes in, both at work and in my personal life. I love leading my team to do the same.

How did you get started at Molly Green?

I had been shopping with MG for years before my employment. I always felt that the company had something special about it, but I didn’t fully understand just how special this place was until I was hired. I remember seeing a job opening online and immediately knew I wanted to go for the opportunity.

What do you like most about your job?

This one is easy. The people. Both those that I get to work alongside with and the relationships I’ve built with our regular clients.

What is your least favorite part?

The damage it does to my wallet.

Favorite MG memory?

This would have to be our one-year anniversary party at the East Nashville location. Before moving to Green Hills, East Nashville was my home store. On February 16th, we celebrated our first year of being open with so many of our supportive customers, friends, work and home families, and neighbors. We were blissfully unaware that only 3 weeks later, a tornado would run straight through our store. Looking back, I don’t think we could have asked for a better way to say farewell to all of the memories we created that year.

Favorite item you've gotten from MG?

Wow. How do I pick? 98% of my closet is Molly Green. To narrow it down, I will say my favorite recent MG piece is the Demi Maxi Skirt in black. It’s got a dainty floral print that goes with just about anything, the cut is ever so slightly high/low, and I find myself grabbing it to wear at least once a week.

How would you describe your personal style?

I’m such a firm believer on not settling for one specific style. I don’t think fashion is supposed to live in a box with a set of rules. I wear what makes me feel good on the day that I get dressed.

What inspires you?

Lots of things. Being around creative minds. Standing up for what I believe in. My son. Nature. Animals.

What is something strange about you? ALT: Do you have a secret talent?

Okay, this one is really weird... but I can make my tongue look like a butt. The only other person I’ve met that can do this, I actually met through Molly Green. Shout out to Hannah from the band Hollis!

What is something not a lot of people know about you that you wish they did? ALT: Do you have a party trick? If so, what is it?

My party trick is to not go to parties.

When you're not at MG what are you doing?

Sleeping, hiking, petting animals, and eating.

Do you have anything you want to promote?

Our Sales Lead at Sabrina is in a band with her husband Phillip. The band's name is Paden. They just released a new album ‘Paths’. Find them on Instagram @PadenMusic

Favorite thing you've done recently?

A socially distanced backyard BBQ!
